I am starting my additional weaning food today

August 22, 2009

This is my first day to taste what look like and how is the taste of my addtional food which was feed by my mom. This is with the litte porridge at the first day that I could eat only about two big spoon one time a day. At the third day I can eat much more compare to the first two day. My mom feel very happy to see that I can eat this porridge. However, during that day I felt not very well wiht minor fever but my mom applied me with the cold pad to lower my temperature. Thank mommy!

I am able to turn over

August 15, 2009:

I am now able to turn upside down by myself very well when I am at 5.5 months old. My daddy was very surprise me when he came back home and realized that I am able to do that just within a week that he was away from home. Sometime I hit my head on the floor while I am doing practice of my turn over. I am happy to do that very much. Hmm… Pity me and my head, mommy and daddy!!! Rita

I got common cold

August 5, 2009:
I am getting sick with common cold and runny nose. It is happen one day before my father travels to Bali. I was very stuffy nose and a little bit cough with minor fever. My mom asked my uncle Kim Heng who is a doctor come to check my health. He gave me some prescription to stop runny nose and clear the block of my nose. Before leaving to Bali, my dad bought a stabilizer machine to steam my nose with serum physiologic in order to stop runny nose. A week latter after taking medicine and performing the steam everyday with three times a day I am getting better. Thanks to uncle, daddy and mommy for taking care me. Rita

Why Rita’s blog?

Yes, you might think that I decided to create my daughter’s blog just for fun or sharing. It might be partially right that it is for sharing but not for fun. The reason behind this emotional creation is that first, I want to keep record as much as I can of all her physical development from the childhood and thing happened around her in order she read and aware when she grows up. Second, learning from this she will understand more on the social communication and networking that you all have been made and will make with your comment to her blog. I am sure that this will benefit her lots from this kind of experiences. Lastly, my aim is that Rita will be able to continue blogging by herself when she is able to read and write and I am sure that she will be fascinated with herself development.

I learn to turn over now.

This month August 2009 is my five months old. I now learn to turn up side down by myself. It makes me a little bit difficult at the beginning as I do not know how to move my two arms out of my body. I always want to get help from my parents but they don’t and want me to do it by myself. It is OK for me though my parents don’t want to help me but I could overcome this situation by moving myself around.

I am sick

I got fever

Some day in May 2009, I was brought for a vaccination at the National Pediatric Hospital. This was my second time of vaccination in which the first time I got fever and painful at the injected site. I am crying and do not breast feed much at that time. For this second time, I had less fever and little pain. However, I am not playing as usual. A day later after the injection I am getting fine. I now start to see and hearing the voices, looking for objects around me. I also start to response to you with my cute baby voice.
